hands down the best deli sandwiches in SF. must get dutch brunch bread or its not the same!!

Frequent flyer of this spot, San Fran Psycho is the way to go and the Dutch Crunch does not disappoint or tear your mouth apart. Lines can get long but they are quick.

Hidden deli is delicious! Can't wait to go back to try more! They don't skimp on the meat that's freshly cut and the sourdough roll was good!

I cant remember what I bought but I do remember this being one of the more tasty sandwich shops I ordered food from during one of my workshifts in the area. Give it a try.

Welcome to The Boys' where there is almost no wrong answers. A consistent reply to the question of, "who has the best sandwich in the city?" To what many reply, "them boys of course." Again, not a wrong answer. These sandwiches are big, and full and wet. Yes, don't let your kids read this. They've got the system wired, 2 of them boys were just back there on a Sunday slanging sammies to a line full of people. I won't bore you with all the details, just know if you are looking for the best, you might have found it here. There's really nothing else to say. (4.8 Stars)

Overall was a great sandwich. Everything came together very well, the chicken, the sauce. My only qualm was that the bread wasn't as fresh as I would have liked, was a bit stale so the Dutch crunch wasn't all that crunchy.

Um, wow wow wow. The Deli Board has some competition. Ordered the Rotisserie chicken sandwich on a Dutch roll and the Meatball sandwich also on Dutch roll. Holy smokes! It's true this can be split into two meals! Get here now! Thanks Infatuation for the recommendation!

Their Dutch Crunch bread takes their sandwiches to the next level! I love how crisp and crackled it is on the outside yet soft on the inside. My go-to is the Sanfranpsycho, which comes with honey turkey, gouda, pesto, garlic spread, and remoulade (a creamy and tangy Creole-style made with mayo, mustard, hot sauce, and spices). You can't go wrong with that set of ingredients! The meat is from Boar's Head, which is supposedly high quality with fine ingredients. To top things off, their veggies are very fresh and extra crisp. I particularly like their pickles which they also sell on the side. I've also tried their Escape From Alcatraz sandwich which comes with chipotle chicken. It was tasty but heavier than the Sanfranpsycho. I do occasionally enjoy the Sandlot Sandwich which comes with rotisserie chicken and avocado. Still, nothing beats the Sanfranpsycho. These sandwiches are $14.99, but they make for a super filling meal and can even be 2 meals for some people. Each time I've been here, there's been a short wait of about 15-20 mins from end to end. You can also call or order online in advance. I also enjoy checking out the snacks and drinks in the deli. I typically go for the Burke's naturals sour belts. The store is well-organized and doesn't feel dingy like some other delis. It's also located so conveniently on Poll right next to Philz.

One of the best sandwich locations in the city! The quality of the fresh bread from Boudins and the amount of creative sandwiches on the menu really takes this deli to the next level. Prices range from 13 to 16 dollars but they're big portions. The guys behind the counter are nice and do a great job. My favorite sandwiches are the Kobe cheesesteak and anything using rotisserie chicken. The garlic spread is a must have too. Highly recommend checking them out if you're ever on Polk.

The Boys Deli, is a solid deli with some real deal sandwiches that are not only filling but delicious at the same time. The most recent experience we went the Recession sandwich which comes with turkey, prosciutto, and mozzarella plus all the fixings. The sandwich itself was big and honestly the gf and I split one and we were filled up. The dutch crunch was fresh and soft, and the sandwiches are toasted which is always a plus. For $15 it's worth it for the size and amount of meat you get. My pro tips would be to call ahead and order. We were quoted 20-25 minutes, so definitely save time and call ahead. The deli is located in a liquor/grocery store, and they had some nice adult beverage selections to complete our park day. Good news, is that they are opening a new location in San Bruno soon, right next to CutRight Barbershop, which means I won't be having to drive into the city to get my boy deli sandwich fix.
